Accounts Module in LedgerX – Ledgers & Groups Explained

The Accounts module is where all your ledgers and groups are managed. These accounts are used across sales, purchases, GST, and reports.

Open Accounts

Go to Accounts from the menu to view all ledgers.

View Ledgers & Groups

  • Use the dropdown to switch between Ledger and Group
  • See account balance and type (P&L or Balance Sheet)

Add a Ledger

  • Click ➕ Add Ledger
  • Enter Ledger Name
  • Choose Under Group
  • Choose Under Group

Add a Group (Optional)

  • Switch to Group
  • Click ➕ Add Group
  • Enter group name and parent group
  • Save

Use in Transactions

Created ledgers automatically appear in sales, purchases, payments, and reports.
